I recommend all the books in the new Evolver Editions series, especially "Sacred Economics" by Charles Eisenstein, and "What Comes After Money" (a collection of essays, edited by Daniel Pinchbeck and Ken Jordan). All the EE authors have a good grasp of the big picture -- the historical, cultural, and ecological forces that are driving the planetary uprising of which Occupy is a part -- along with concrete suggestions about how we might move forward as a species.
